The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors at our family lake in Tamaroa, IL. The lake is near and dear to our hearts, and we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Our ceremony will be reserved for family and close friends, as we do not have the space or seating available to accommodate a large crowd out at the lake.
Following the ceremony, the reception will take place at the Du Quoin Exhibition Hall located within the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. ADDRESS: 655 Executive Drive, DuQuoin, IL 62832 It is important to note that the address listed above will not take you to the correct building. It is better to drive through the main gates of the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. The Expo Hall will be on the left-hand side, next to the lake. A parking lot is available for your use across from the Expo Hall entrance. We are so excited to celebrate with you!
The Expo Hall is where our love story began! Back in June 2024, we both attended a mutual friend's wedding reception at the Expo. During dinner, I noticed Brady sitting at a table across from me. I hadn't seen him since high school (about 6 years prior), so I waved at him! I still giggle to this day when I think about his reaction. Brady quickly scanned the room, checking to see if I was really waving at him (An expression of "Who, me?" was written all over his face), then he hesitantly waved back. Shortly after, I walked over to say hi. We had a great conversation that sparked interest. One week later, we went on our first date. And the rest is history! I couldn't imagine having our wedding reception anywhere else. It's a full-circle moment!
We kindly ask for your RSVP status via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance. If you need to update the bride and groom on any status changes, please contact either of us at the following numbers: Shania: (618)-571-3275 Brady: (618)-357-0012
Please RSVP by May 20, 2026, to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably and gather a proper head count for catering services.
Due to space and seating constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. A plus-one is permitted if indicated on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
Of course! We love children and believe it wouldn't be a complete celebration without them! We plan to have some fun activities in place for kids to participate in together while adults mingle and socialize!
Our wedding attire is semi-formal. Wear something that makes you feel both comfortable and beautiful!
Our theme will have a clean, modern rustic vibe. We want to create a space that blends natural charm with modern elegance. We love the combination of wood elements, greenery, soft lighting, and neutral/earthy tones (sage green, eucalyptus, white, dove gray, dusty blue, champagne, taupe, terracotta, etc.). Feel free to incorporate these colors into your outfits if desired! However, this is by no means required.
Click on the registry section of our website to view items we would love to have for our future home! We are registered through Zola, Amazon, and Walmart. Click on the picture of the gift you would like to purchase, and it will direct you to the website from which the item is sourced.
Yes, of course! Cash gifts would be extremely helpful for us, considering we are building our forever home and starting completely from scratch! We intend to use these funds towards furnishing our new house. If you would like to place cash in a card, we will have a box designated for cards at the reception hall that you can drop it off in. We greatly appreciate your kind thoughts and gestures, and thank you so much for contributing to helping us start our lives together!
We plan to serve tea, lemonade, soda, and water. This is an alcohol-free event, so we will not have any bar services. We politely ask that no outside alcoholic beverages be brought in. 1 Corinthians 10:31 "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God."
