We're getting married!

Brady and Sammy’s story began in the spring of 2018, when they both transferred to a new high school. As team co-captains of track and field, they quickly built a friendship through countless practices and long days at track meets. One evening after track practice, they stopped by Pie Five for pizza — a small, now-closed spot that unknowingly marked the beginning of their story. Since then, they’ve cheered each other on through every milestone: high school graduation, college at The University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!), earning their degrees, and now pursuing their career goals side by side. Together, they’ve explored six countries outside of the U.S. and countless cities — learning that if they can navigate foreign trains, long flights, and the chaos of cancelled or delayed flights together, they can handle whatever life brings their way. Along the way, they’ve adopted a lovable (and ADHD) dog from KC Pet Project in October 2024, moved twice, and settled into city life surrounded by great friends, laughter, and love.
