Nicole and Brady met in May of 2020 all thanks to Nicole's sister, Michelle, and the help of Brady's sister, Alyssa. Michelle was thinking of possible matches for Nicole and noticed through the grapevine of Facebook that Brady Raney finished chiropractic school in March 2020 and moved back to Livingston, MT. Michelle asked Nicole if she would be interested in meeting up with Brady and Nicole agreed. A little background information about the couple, Nicole and Brady grew up about a mile from each other in their childhood years and attended all the same schools in Livingston, MT, but never spoke to each other or knew one another, other than knowing about the other through mutual friends. Nicole hesitantly said "okay" and Michelle connected with Alyssa, who were friends from childhood, and passed on phone numbers to their respected siblings. Brady and Nicole decided to meet up by going for a hike. Nicole was fed up with men at this point but thought "why not, if anything I will get a good hike in," and Brady thought Nicole "looked good" in the picture Alyssa sent to him. During the hike Nicole and Brady shared stories and connected on life views, personal injuries, animals, and traveling adventures. Brady even got to go in depth about his knowledge and passion for nutrition! Both left the hike feeling impressed with the other and looked forward to future hikes together. Fia, Brady's adorable 10 year old Australian Shepard, had a fantastic time too! About a month or two later, Brady and Nicole were discussing future adventures with the hopes the other would want to continue these adventures. One year later, Nicole was hinting at a proposal, while Brady was already considering one. In August 2022, at the base of Black Spire Peak in Paradise Valley, Brady proposed! Nicole and Brady look forward to additional adventures, life challenges, and laughs together.
