Q & A

Question

Tell me more about the Welcome Picnic?

Answer

We knew just one day with you wouldn't be enough so we decided we should all hang out, drink some beer, eat some grub, burn some smores, and play a little cornhole before the big day. Vibe: old-school family picnic with make-your-own sandwich bar, watermelon, and lemonade and games. Come visit for 30 minutes or 3 hours; we can’t wait to see you!

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

It is at a lovely (non-working) ranch called Diamond B near Kalispell, Montana. We will have cocktail hour before the outdoor ceremony along the Flathead River and the reception that follows will be in the large barn.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

May 10, 2027

Question

Can I change my RSVP?

Answer

If you need to modify your RSVP, please send an email to parkinwedding2027@gmail.com

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony on Sunday?

Answer

We recommend you arrive by 4:15 pm in order to give yourself enough time to find grab a drink and a snack. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

Most importantly, what will we eat?

Answer

Cocktail hour with drinks and food will begin at 4:30pm. We will enjoy BBQ for dinner followed by cake and other desserts and then evening munchies. There will be an open bar with wine, beer, cider, and a few signature cocktails, along with iced sweet tea, lemonade and water throughout the evening.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

If you have specific concerns or allergies, please don't hesitate to email us at parkinwedding2027@gmail.com.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

There will definitely be an amusing interpretation of it.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Camping is available at the Ranch for $30 per day for self-contained RVs (no hook-ups) and we will have a block of rooms at 2 local hotels. Please see the Lodging page for more information.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Most importantly, we want you to be comfortable and have fun! The dress code would be considered dressy casual which would include sundresses and dress shirts. Note that the ceremony will take place by the river which requires walking down a grass path from the parking area. And since this is a ranch in Montana, you can guarantee there will be cowboy hats!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We predict the weather to be mild and under 70 degrees for the outdoor ceremony and in the 40's in the evening. If we have rain, the ceremony will be moved to a heated barn. We will keep you posted here as we get closer to the weekend.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We want you to be present with us during this very sacred moment and ask that you turn off your electronics during the ceremony. After that, yes! Please! In fact, we will have a QR code displayed and encourage you to snap and upload your little heart out!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have had to carefully limit our numbers which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please let us know.
