Katie and Brady first met six years ago at a waterski tournament, not realizing that their shared love for the water would spark a bond that would last a lifetime. Katie attended Ohio University, while Brady pursued his studies at the University of Akron. For three years they navigated the challenges of long distance, grateful for the unexpected gift of time together when COVID brought them both home. After graduation, Katie moved to St. Louis to begin chiropractic school, and once again they found themselves apart. Through those years, they built their relationship on trust, communication, and unwavering support never letting a day go by without hearing each other’s voices. On September 7th, 2025, their love was tested in an unimaginable way. Brady was in a serious car accident that left him with two broken legs and complications from fatty embolism syndrome following surgery. He spent months in the hospital and rehabilitation facilities, working tirelessly to regain his strength and spirit. Through it all, Katie never left his side encouraging, comforting, and believing in him every step of the way. Today, Katie and Brady have built a loving home together in Columbia Station, Ohio. They continue to grow stronger through every challenge, sharing laughter, faith and deep gratitude for how far they’ve come. Now, they’re ready to begin their greatest adventure yet marrying their best friend and celebrating a love that has truly stood the test of time.
