This is one of the future Walsh's favorite spots! Head to this local dive bar, grab a table, order delivery from your favorite restaurant, and start one of their many board games! This bar will definitely give you memories laughing with your entire group.
Au Cheval
This is Brady and Katherine's favorite burger spot they've ever been to! While you wait, walk around the West Loop and hop around to the different bars! Don't forget to get the bacon and egg on your burger! *Au Cheval does not take reservations, be prepared to wait!
Celtic Knot Public House
Still looking to party and have another drink? This classic Irish pub offers all sorts of drinks to wet your whistle. The pub is open until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and is a 2-minute walk from the Hilton Orrington. Sláinte!
Home Alone House
Ever wanted to see where Kevin McCallister grew up to be a man and defend his family's house from the Wet Bandits?! Well, look no further than Winnetka, IL! A short 15-minute drive will put you right back into the movie.
The Second City
If you're in town for an extra night, head on down to one of the most famous comedy clubs in the world. Second City has a variety of shows that will be sure to have you laughing throughout the night. Head down early or stay after the show to grab a bite and a few more drinks from one of the many bars and restaurants on Wells St. *Shows have a tendency to sell out; please be sure to buy your tickets in advance
Lincoln Park Zoo
Got animal fever? Head down to Chicago and check out the Lincoln Park Zoo only a short walk from Katherine's old apartment. Check out the zebras, rhinos, and Brady's personal favorite, polar bears! *The zoo has a $0 admission fee and only asks for donations when entering.
Buffalo Joe's
If you're looking for some good, old-fashioned, messy wings look no further than Buffalo Joe's in Evanston. But remember, it's cash only. Bring your wet wipes!
Le Peep
Looking for something other than the hotel for breakfast or brunch? Le Peep is a short walk down the street that will bring you back to the good-ole days where diners were hip.
Bahá'í House of Worship
A quick trip north of Evanston will lead you to the Bahá'í House of Worship, one of only seven in the world. This beautiful structure offers incredible stories and architecture. If you stop by, be sure to walk around the grounds and check out the gardens.
Chicago Botanic Garden
A short 20-minute drive will bring you to the Chicago Botanic Garden. Take a walk through the 27 different gardens and natural areas and you will certainly get a photo or two for Instagram.
Museum Campus
It would be remiss of us if we didn't tell you to check out the collection of world-class museums that Chicago has to offer. Catch up with Sue the T-Rex at the Field Museum, explore space at the Adler Planetarium, or visit the seals and dolphins at the Shedd Aquarium.
