We’re getting married!

Well, let's just say we both "swiped right". Yes, it's true, we are one of Bumble's success stories. Who would've thought! We had been chatting back and forth for a few weeks before meeting for our first date at La Bottega. Chris forewarned me on his excessive dipping habits, I happily accepted the weirdness and it was all Happily-Ever-After from there on out.

We had just closed on our first house together earlier Friday morning. It was already a day to celebrate. I had just got home from work when I noticed a single long stem rose, bottle of champagne and card on the table waiting for me. Chris told me to open my card first, so that we can celebrate. It was an adorable card saying how happy and excited he was to continue this journey with me in our new home. how much he loved me AND how there was "Just One More Thing"... As I turned around to see what it was, Chris was already on his knee behind me with the ring in hand. He asked me to marry him and I, shaking with excitement, said "YES”!

We'll be eloping in Las Vegas! With only our closest family and a few friends by our side, we decided to really celebrate the happy moments in life with a true PARTY. Both Chris and I have experienced huge losses in our lives in the past two years, which is why we really wanted to make this wedding special to each other. We had always said we didn't want something big, and wanted it to be more personal and meaningful to us. Which is why we decided to have a small ceremony in Vegas! We are happy we will get to celebrate with everyone prior at our engagement/going away party. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
