When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 21. 2026 to ensure we provide all vendors with an accurate headcount for the wedding day. Any RSVPs that are not answered after June 21, 2026, will be marked as "no" automatically.

What should I do if I can not make it?

Answer

If you cannot make it, we ask that you update your RSVP as soon as possible. If you need to change your RSVP after June 21, 2026, please contact us as soon as possible.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! Ladies are kindly asked to wear dresses. Summery hues, ruffles, textures, and florals are encouraged. Please do not wear leggings, jeans, T-shirts, or lounge wear. We ask that you avoid any dark colors, and please NO WHITE. Men are asked to wear light, colorful tones or florals. We would love to see dress pants, button-up shirts, and dress shoes. If you choose to wear boots with jeans, please wear a button-up shirt with or without a sports coat. We kindly request no T-shirts, lounge wear, avoid dark colors, and NO WHITE. Are children invited?

Answer

We would love to provide a date night on us! However, if you need to bring your children, we understand. Please make sure to RSVP for children as well to ensure our vendor numbers are accurate. We kindly ask you to quietly exit the chapel during the ceremony if your child becomes upset or starts to cry. Also, please be mindful of the pond on the venue property.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please limit plus ones to those formally invited. Due to venue and vendor restrictions, we are not able to accommodate those not invited. If your plus one cannot come, please mark "no" for their RSVP.

Answer

The Chapel at Hoyt Hallow is located at 504 Morris-Cobb Road, Empire, AL 35063.

When should I arrive to the venue on wedding day?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive thirty minutes before the ceremony starts due to the parking lot location relative to the chapel. If you arrive within five minutes or less of the ceremony starting, we ask you to stay in your car during the ceremony. Once guests are released from the ceremony, you may join them for the cocktail hour.

Can I bring outside food and beverages?

Answer

Due to venue restrictions, we are not allowed to bring in any food, non-alcoholic beverages, or alcoholic beverages. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be served during the reception.

Will a security guard be present?

Answer

Yes, a security guard will be present to ensure all venue restrictions are followed. The venue and security have the ability to ask guests to leave if restrictions are not followed. We ask that you stay inside the reception hall and patio area. If you need to get something from your car, we kindly ask you not to make multiple trips to the parking lot.

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please silence and put away your phones during the ceremony. We will have two photographers present to capture our moment. We will gladly share photos when we receive them.
