Flight
There are three major airports for getting to New York City and our wedding in Brooklyn. LGA (aka LaGuardia) is the closest, followed by JFK. If you fly into Newark Airport (in NJ) you'll have a longer and more pricey taxi ride.
Travel Note
If you are up for it, you can take the subway for $2.75 per ride and get almost anywhere, including our wedding venue! Brady recommends the free "SUBWAY:NYC" map application for your phone. There are also tons of yellow taxis. Plus, Uber/Lyft both have lots of local drivers for around the same price.
Hotel
Rather than reserve a hotel block, we'd like to make sure everybody is able to choose what suits their budget best! But we'll list of few options below as a jumping-off point, as well as some information about renting Airbnbs. If you are comfortable with navigating the NYC subway system and want to stay at a hotel in another location (or another price point), that is totally fine! Just let us know if there are any questions we can answer for you.

House Or Rental
Airbnb is a great alternative if you're looking to get a feel for Brooklyn (or Manhattan for that matter - we won't judge). The easiest bet for quick navigation to the Brooklyn Grange at Sunset Park is to stay near a subway station connected to the N, R, or D line. We'd recommend the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Sunset Park, Gowanus, or Park Slope for quick access to the venue. If you want to stay closer to Manhattan, the DUMBO area of Brooklyn will get you there in no time. If you want to be our neighbors for the weekend, we're on the border of Crown Heights and Prospect Heights and we love it here. Come on by!
