What time is the wedding?

The wedding will begin at 4:00 pm

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is at the same location as the wedding ceremony. We will be doing a quick turn around with the table and chairs to get things ready for the reception. Feel free to take this time to get pictures with the Bride & Groom as well with the wedding party.

What are we having for dinner?

Answer

Brad & I have decided on a taco bar.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

While there will not be a bar and/or bartender, we are going to have a self-serve alcohol station. We will be doing at least one specialty Bride drink as well. That drink is a Washington Apple. It has Crown Royal, Apple Pucker & Cranberry Juice, But definitely drink responsibly as we’ve hired 2 photographers and all shanigans will be heavily documented and mocked for years to come.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress nicely as you will be in our photos at one point or another. However, dress comfortably. We’ve hired an incredible DJ and dancing is required. 😊 We will dance, play games, & our DJ always plans something special for the bride, groom and family.

Are there kid activities?

Answer

We will have a separate room (but it is connected to the main venue with no door so we can supervise) with board games, coloring/crafts, and even a karaoke machine. This way when the kiddos get bored of all the adult stuff they can escape to their own playroom and spend time together.

Where are the nearest hotels?

Answer

I’ve called and also attached hotel information on the website under “travel.” A couple of the hotels offer group rates if several families plan to get rooms at the same place.

We will be staying the night. Is there a church nearby?

Answer

We attend Brandywine Community Church at 1551 East New Road. It is an amazing church and we’ve brought a few family members who have loved our service. All 5 of us were baptized there (and Brad was rebaptized as an adult. We also did a baby dedication there for Caydence. We highly recommend it.

What is the schedule?

Answer

We will be placing a sign in our venue with the posted schedule. We plan to try to get Bride & Groom photos, as well as wedding party photos out of the way prior to the ceremony to try to keep things moving along. Each family has 1 person who has been asked to gather family members for photos after the ceremony to help move things along as well.
