Our Story
First Date: If you ask David, we met fighting over a corn dog or other hot item at the local Kwik Trip hot spot. If you ask Megan, we had lunch after talking online for a few days. The date must have gone well because as soon as Megan got back in her car David asked if she wanted to come see the farm. Megan thought, why not he seems to be a nice guy. So Megan went to the farm and David took her on her first gator ride to cut tree branches in the bottoms and then it began to rain. We finished the 7-hour date with a movie and had to wait for David's family to leave the driveway since Megan didn't need to meet them yet!
Proposal: After clearing the fence line and cutting down trees at the farm on a Sunday, we took a gator ride to the bottoms to see the new growth after David's dad burned earlier in the year. As Megan got back in the gator David got down on one knee, pulled out a rubber band, and proposed near where our first date took place!
