Where do I park?
Answer
There is parking located directly across the street ''Lot 2'' on Hatteras Island Reserve right across from the address that holds enough parking for all guests.

Can I bring my Children?
Answer
As our venue has a maximum capacity, we are planning a child-free ceremony and reception, we kindly ask that no children attend. The only exceptions are children participating in the wedding and babies in arms. If a little one becomes unsettled during the ceremony, we kindly ask that you please step away until they are comfortable.

What if it rains during Ceremony?
Answer
Since the Ceremony will take place directly on the beach behind the house we kindly ask that all guests bring umbrellas in the case of rain, we are saying I do rain or shine!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please arrive at least 15–20 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding seating for ceremony.

What should I wear?
Answer
Beach formal / beach cocktail attire is recommended. Think dressy but comfortable. Feel free to go barefoot for ceremony as there will be a designated area adjacent to the ceremony to take shoes off and bring comfortable shoes for reception.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We invite you to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Please keep phones on silent and refrain from taking photos unless otherwise noted.

Are gifts expected?
Answer
Your presence is the greatest gift! If you wish to give something, we will have a honeymoon fund QR code available at the wedding and on our website.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
Answer
The ceremony will take place on the beach and is important to note that the beach house does not have direct private beach access. Guests will walk down the beach approximately 2–3 houses from the property. Signage will be posted to guide you to the ceremony location. The reception will follow outdoors in the backyard of the beach house located at the address provided on this website.

Is there a room block?

At this time, we do not have a formal room block. Guests are encouraged to book accommodations that best fit their needs and travel plans. A variety of lodging options will be listed on the website for your convenience.

What should I know about traveling in May?
Answer
May weather is typically warm and pleasant, but evenings can be cooler. We recommend packing layers and checking the forecast closer to your travel date.

What is the best airport to fly into?
Answer
The closest major airport is listed on this website(Norfolk International Airport (ORF). We recommend booking flights early, as May is a popular travel season.

What food will be served at the wedding?
Answer
Our reception will feature a seafood-based menu, including crab cakes, a seafood boil, charcuterie board, and crab dip. Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Will there be a bar at the reception?
Answer
Yes! We will be hosting an open bar. Guests are also welcome to BYOB if they prefer. We’ll be featuring signature cocktails for the bride and groom, along with beer, white wine, and High Noons as other options.
