We met at a friend's house and when it was time to all grab dinner, everyone ditched but the two of us. At the time, Brad was just a guy who offered Katie a ride and advice on how to travel through Europe for her upcoming trip. After that, we ended up being put on the same project group at City Serve. Over time we became friends. Thankfully, Brad waited to ask Katie out until feeling a peace through prayer, not knowing that The Lord was still preparing her heart to be ready for him until then. Only the Lord knew that everything that happened up until this point in these two lives would so sweetly enrich the joy and compatibility of this couple who grew very much individually before growing together.
