We met in the 7th grade at a friend's end of year pool party. The next year we happened to sit next to each other in algebra. With failed attempts of communication, it wasn't until our Freshman year of high school when we were made to sit next to one another in geometry, where our relationship grew into a close friendship. It didn't take long for us to find similar interests between us like our love for sports and family. Soon after, we became inseparable. With advice from my mother to not date until I was 16, Bradly asked me to be his girlfriend the day after my 16th birthday on September 15, 2015. We have made many unforgettable memories and cherished every moment together since!
With a much needed break from work and school, Bradly asked me if I would like to take a trip to Lake LBJ and Lake Buchanan, two very special places to Bradly as a child. Of course I said yes but as we headed out of town the sky began to get darker in the direction we were headed. As I continued to ask him if he still wanted to go the lake with the weather turning south, he repeatedly assured me that the "weather would break". With no luck of sunshine at Lake LBJ we headed to Lake Buchanan. When we arrived we walked the shore line and skipped rocks, something we enjoy doing together, after a while we decided to sit and talk by the water. With still no luck of the weather breaking, he asks me if I would like to grab something to eat. I of course say "yes" and go to stand up. When I stood up he moved to one knee and opened a box from his back pack revealing a ring and asked "Kilee, will you be my wife?". With a big smile and a loss for words I nod and then say "Yes!". With an overwhelming feeling of love and excitement he picks me up and then kisses me, and we were engaged. Even though he didn't get the sunshine he was hoping for, it is a day we will always treasure. We are thrilled to celebrate this next chapter of our love story with you. See you in Bertram!
