Travel Note
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in one of our favorite places, Door County, Wisconsin! Since our wedding falls over a holiday weekend, we’re planning ahead to help make accommodations as convenient as possible for our guests. If you’re planning to book an Airbnb or VRBO, we recommend searching in or around Baileys Harbor, as it will be the most convenient area for guests throughout the weekend. Door County also offers plenty of charming vacation rentals, making them a great option for families, larger groups, or anyone looking for additional space. We encourage you to start planning your accommodations early, especially with the holiday weekend, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Hotel
We have reserved a set of preferred accommodations at Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort in Baileys Harbor through January 1, 2027. After that date, any remaining accommodations will be made available to the general public. If you’d like to reserve your stay now, please call Baileys Harbor Yacht Club directly at 1 (800) 927-2492 and mention the Giordano-Noxon wedding when making your reservation.
Travel Note
For guests traveling by car from the Chicago area, Baileys Harbor is approximately a 4.5-hour drive. The drive is straightforward, with the last stretch through Door County offering some scenic views as you get closer to your destination. We recommend allowing a little extra travel time, as holiday weekend traffic can be heavier than usual.
Flight
The closest airport to our venue is Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB), located about a 1.5-hour drive from Baileys Harbor. Rental cars are readily available at the airport and are the easiest way to get to Door County, as rideshare availability can be limited once you're in the area. We recommend booking flights and rental cars early, especially since it's a holiday weekend!

Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is another convenient option for guests traveling from out of town. The airport is approximately a 3-hour drive to Baileys Harbor and offers a wide selection of flight options and rental cars. We recommend booking flights and rental cars early, as Labor Day weekend is a popular travel time.
