If you’ve ever heard of “stranger danger”, you know that getting in a car and driving 14 hours alone to meet a friend of a friend is… pretty crazy at best. Souls, however, see things a little differently. Instead of strangers, they classify the unknown as friends, as family, and in some cases (such as this one), soulmates. When you drive 14 hours with no backup plan, you REALLY begin to hope that the universe has got you covered. And, quite frankly, that he’s not a weirdo or a serial killer. What followed this leap of faith was a week to remember. A small boat, a spiteful border collie, and a mutual undying desire to adventure paved the way for a beautiful future.
