Newport is an incredibly popular summer and wedding destination and does not typically accommodate room blocks in their peak season. We've included a few recommendations below but also encourage you to check Airbnb options and look through Expedia for better rates as many places require 2 night minimums. Please note that Middletown is just a quick Uber ride away so is a great option!

There is one airport in Rhode Island that is about 30 minutes away from downtown Newport! Plan ahead if you're looking to fly in.

Train

Kingston Amtrak Station

Amtrak is a great option for those of you traveling from New York, Boston, or DC area. The station drops you off ~25 minutes from downtown Newport and is a beautiful coastal ride through the Northeast! We recommend scheduling an Uber/Lyft for when you arrive. The sooner you book your tickets, the cheaper they will be!
