Admittedly, on Hinge! Although we both were attending Park Community Church in Lincoln Park and had mutual friends (we like to think it would have happened naturally).

Jackets required for the men, formal dresses recommended for the ladies. Please no denim, club rules.

While we LOVE children, we kindly request that you leave them home and enjoy a fun adults night.

What kind of food can we expect?

Answer

The welcome party features Vietnamese French fusion hors d'oeuvres from Le Colonial (they’re amazing, come hungry). The cocktail hour post wedding will have coconut jumbo shrimp, bacon wrapped brisket, and seared ahi tuna crisps hors d’oeuvres. The plated dinner includes a summer salad of mixed greens, strawberry, oranges, pecans, and poppy seed dressing. Dinner is a choice of the following: 1. Scottish salmon with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, grilled red onion, and black pearl rice 2. Filet mignon with bone marrow crust, grilled asparagus, cremini mushrooms, ponme puree, madeira reduction 3. Vegan quinoa stir fry with sprouts, broccoli, snap peas, mushrooms, asparagus, baby spinach, lemon, kecap manis Dessert is cake. We also have mini bacon cheeseburgers for a late night snack.

How can I spend Labor Day Weekend in Chicago?

The possibilities are endless! Our favorites would be going to Navy Pier, doing an architectural boat tour, hitting Oak Street Beach, going to one of our many museums, and trying some of the amazing restaurants in the area.
