Like any true Gen Z love story, we met on Hinge on May 19th, 2023. Bradley asked Ivy out for downtown speakeasy date, but being the gym rats we are, we actually met for the first time two hours before our date… at the gym we both went to, to hit a arm workout. We worked out together, then got cleaned up and went bar hopping downtown that night. From the very beginning, there was an instant spark. We had the same sense of humor, could talk for hours, shared similar upbringings, the same future goals, and most importantly, the same faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior. It felt easy. It felt right. Just four weeks later, while at a comedy show, the comedian David Koechner (yes,from The Office) stopped at our table and roasted us. After talking with us for a minute, he looked at Bradley and said, “You need to lock this up.” Later that same night, while playing pool at our favorite dive bar, Bradley asked Ivy to be his girlfriend. Two years and two months later, Bradley proposed. And now, just ten months after that beautiful “yes,” we’re getting married on May 16th, 2026, almost exactly three years from the day we met.
