FAQs

Before contacting the bride or groom directly, check here for some frequently asked questions! We know that some of these answers may not be what you want to hear, but we appreciate your understanding. We love each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you on the big day! Thank you again!
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we ask that only adults attend. In addition to budget and space constraints, we want everyone to be able to fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest," then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation due to our contract with the venue.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal — think elegant and dressy with a light, outdoor feel. Midi or long dresses, floral prints, and light-colored suits are perfect. Since the ceremony will be outdoors, we recommend choosing shoes suitable for grass (wedges or block heels are great!). As for colors, think about your favorite sunset colors!

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting!) and will last about 30 minutes. In the case of inclement weather, the venue will provide an alternate indoor ceremony space. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We have made the decision to not have an open bar, but there will be a cash bar available to guests who are interested!

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We will be providing a buffet-style dinner, hors d'oeuvres during social hour, and cupcakes for dessert!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is an elevator available to take guests down to where the ceremony will be held, and back up to the reception area. If you have further concerns, please contact Anika!
