2022 Civil Wedding
Together with Dr James Ward, Brad's father and our only witness to the civil marriage ceremony on 24 June 2022 at the Manhattan Clerk's Office, we crossed the street and had our photo taken at the steps of the New York Court House.
Then we went to Central Park for a carriage ride and the wedding lunch at Tavern on the Green where we were joined by Pastor Heidi Neumark, and Brad's friends from Trinity Lutheran Church of Manhattan. In the evening, we went for a dinner cruise at Hudson and East rivers.
On Pride Sunday, we were blessed by Pastor Heidi during the church service. We had a garden reception with Brad's friends, classmates, colleagues, Romeo's cousins, and the Trinity church members.
In the afternoon, we watched the NYC Pride parade and joined the communities in celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and oneness.
