Jess and Joe met in the fall of their sophomore year of college through mutual friends. The two stayed connected during winter break and in the spring they started dating. They continued to grow in their studies and graduated college together in 2022. After school, Jess and Joe moved to the Detroit area, just miles apart, to pursue their careers in Audit and Advertising, respectively.

On October 14th, 2023, at Blake’s Cider Mill, the couple walked through the apple orchard, taking pictures and picking apples. In one of the rows, Joe got down on one knee and asked Jess to 'marry him' and she said, “Yes”. They finished the day with friends at the cider mill and later grabbed a bite to eat at an Italian joint near by. That December, Jess surprised Joe with a four month old Australian Shepherd, which he named Bronco (pic below). Jess, Joe, and Bronco continue to grow more in love each day as the wedding planning and their careers take off.

Once married, Jess and Joe plan to stay in the Metro Detroit area for a few years as they continue to grow their family and careers. Their dream is to some day retire south where they run a costal bar like Jimmy Buffett and soak up the sun.
