Broadway
Broadway is the most popular area in Nashville for visitors! If you are looking for somewhere to get a drink and listen to great music between 11am-2am every day of the week, this is the spot for you. Our favorite places on Broadway are Robert's Western World for cheap drinks and good music and Fifth+Broadway for great local food and shops!
12 South
12 South is one of our favorite neighborhoods in Nashville! This is a great place to walk around, grab food, check out shops, and find great happy hour deals. Our favorite spot is Ember's Ski Lodge- a place we often go to with friends for 2-for-1 drinks and amazing fries with jalapeno ranch! Bonus: 12 South is home to Consider the Wldflwrs, the jeweler where Dave bought Emily's engagement ring and they got both of their wedding bands!
Hattie B's Hot Chicken
The ongoing debate among Nashville locals is their favorite hot chicken and Hattie B's is our pick! Nashville has 4 Hattie B's locations to choose from. We recommend the bone-in chicken in Medium or Hot with their pimento mac & cheese and potato salad!
Yee-Haw Brewing Co.
Yee-Haw is one of our favorite places to hang out, especially during football season! They offer beer, moonshine, and whiskey. We recommend the Easy beer, Titan One On cocktail, and Pickleback Shots! For food, we love the pork belly tacos at White Duck and any hot dog from Daddy's Dogs.
The Steps at Percy Warner
This is where we got engaged! If all the food and drink Nashville has to offer starts taking a toll on you, this park has multiple walking trails and beautiful nature views. You can find great sunset views from the top of the stairs here! The best way to get to the steps is to put in the address "Belle Meade Blvd Nashville TN 37205" into Apple Maps!
Frist Art Museum
The Frist Museum is one of our favorite museums in Nashville and is located right down the street from Broadway! They frequently rotate their exhibits and always have a great show. We love visiting the kid's interactive exhibit upstairs whenever we go to the Frist!
