Maid of Honor
My sister and better half (sorry, Brad)! The hilarious things she says (especially on vacation) could fill a book - no one makes me laugh harder. She also provided lots of practice in taking ONLY silly photos, which I now need with my goofball fiancé. Also, I'm always flattered when people ask if we're twins - she's so pretty! Mo, I would choose to sit on the couch and watch SYTYCD with you over most things in the world. I feel our "almas gemelas" status so very deeply. LOVE YOU!
Best Man
Winner of the 2017 forager awards, the most loving member of Elliott family, and described as ‘a healthy dose of 5 hour energy and ibuprofen’ by numerous homeless in the community, JT is the only other XY Elliott chromosome in the wedding party. For all these reasons he is the best man.

Who knew such awesomeness could come from an internship! Amber was the first intern who worked for me at Taft, but we quickly became fast friends. Over the years, we grew closer to the Lord at the same time, and therefore closer to each other. How awesome it was and is to walk alongside (and go on photoventures with) you, Amber! There were many times when your wise, hopeful counsel brought peace in my relationship with Brad. You are caring, thoughtful, intentional, and FUN! Couldn't do this without you!

I met Kaitlyn when starting my "big kid" life in downtown Indy. We connected over our love of travel, dogs, yummy cocktails, fantasy novels, and FOOD! She's my go-to for quality noms in Indy (and elsewhere). Kaitlyn, your determination, honesty, and "100% being yourself-ness" are my gold standard. Seeing you and Tom love each other solidified for me that differences in a marriage need not be scary and that they are in fact a strength. Similarly important: I appreciate having you as my oyster/sushi buddy :) You rock!

John and Brad became friends over their mutual 6ft 6in stature.

Kath is kinda the reason we're all here! As Brad's sister and my roommate, she put the bug in his ear to ask me out and the rest...well, ya know ;) She is the deepest well of love, empathy, and care - with lots of journalism-honed curiosity thrown in. We share a love of books, travelling, making things look nice, and interesting truths! Kath, I can't thank you enough for essentially introducing me to the love of my life. Also you deserve sainthood for putting up with us dating! LOVE YOU!

Tyler is one of 2 people on this list who physically saved my life. He is also engaged right now so I thought that he’d be wise to keep around.

I still remember that day in sophomore science class when Val introduced herself to me. After years of homeschooling, it was such a relief to find a kindred spirit right away at "real school." We haven't slowed down since! We've done a million things together: wakeboarding (me mostly watching in awe), baking cookies, taking photos, writing notes, sharing prayer requests, reading to her kids, trick-or-treating (with beer!), and generally having the time of our lives. Val, I don't know what I would do without your love and the love of your family. I cherish you like a sister!

David Katcher was chosen as a groomsmen to avoid the superstitious nature of only having 2 groomsmen named David.

It was Angela who taught me that it's way more fun to be weird! Put together as random roommates freshman year of college, we've been meowing at each other ever since :) There's a possibility that we have more wacky stories together than...idk we just have lots of wacky stories. Like the hand-stuck-in-a-fence story. Or the getting-stuck-in-the-Outback story. Or the Hungry Jacks story. Ang, you helped me be myself by being yourself and your light shines so bright. Love you heaps!

Andre was steadfast, wise and a genuine asset during Maria and my relationship. I just like him a lot also.

If I have any dancing swag, it's thanks to 1) my mom's genes and 2) DIANA! My first memory of D is dancing in the basement at Jared Gonzalez's birthday party. We've had many basement dance parties, cumbia classes, and SADCO picnics (with more dancing) since that day and I wouldn't change a thing! D, you're a lover of justice, a wonderful mother, exemplary wife, and hilarious g (even though we're now getting old, I still think we're cool). Te amo, mi mejor amiga.
Groomsman
Tobias is my cousin and has persevered through very similar life challenges. We have lived together, started businesses, led Christian communities and maintained many of the same friendships. I love who he is, has been and is becoming.
Bridesmaid
At Butler, Rachel and I both gave our junior year class presentations on our study abroad experiences. I remember scooting my chair over to her as if attracted to a magnet. And what adventures we've had since! Outside of my family, Rachel is the travel buddy with whom I have visited the most countries. Rachel, you are a lover of justice, pretty/yummy things, a crazy good baker, sharer of good wisdom, and an awesome sauce best friend. You've taught me how to give and take in a healthy way through your marriage to Zach, and I'm so grateful to be in your life. What would I do without you? *Nose boop*

David gave Brad the lower bunk for 2 years and only brought up the fact that he borrowed his flannels and jacket (consistently) once.
Bridesmaid
Kat is not related to me, but she might as well be. She's the big sister the Lord knew I needed :) Our shared love of food and talking for hours on end is the stuff friendship dreams are made of. Kat, you are loyal, wise, freaking hilarious, and an awesome example to me of a Christ-centered wife and mother. My life would suck without you!
Groomsman
Joe loves Jesus, adventure, rock climbing, dancing, climbing trees, deep friendships with guys, and is probably the biggest romantic on the team. It’s not a surprise that we get along so well.
Bridesmaid
My cousin is like sunshine in a bottle! You can't not love her! As the cousin closest to me in age, we've shared lots of vacations, summer camps, visits, tough times, and belly laughs. Though we live far away, when we see each other it's like no time has passed. Lissie, you are just a BLAST and I'm so impressed with the way you and Eric trust the Lord with your family. You're the bestest, and my life would be less bright without you!

David and Brad met while examining the anaerobic digesters at a wastewater treatment plant. A discussion of ‘what are you doing here’ quickly led to a deep understanding of mutual love of traffic patterns and Christian community.
