Stage Fort Park is a scenic and historic public park located along the waterfront in Gloucester, Massachusetts. It marks the landing site of the city’s first settlers in 1623, who established fishing stages on this very ground. Today, it serves as a vibrant hub for outdoor recreation, community gatherings, and celebrations.
One of the best whale-watching experiences in New England. Boats leave from downtown Gloucester. The trip out to the whales usually takes between 45 minutes to a little over an hour depending on the location of the whales. Once you arrive on the feeding grounds we will spend approximately 1.5 hours with the whales. Your onboard naturalist will provide valuable insight into the lives of the whales you see and explain the behaviors you observe the whales engaged in.
