How Should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on the envelope. Or scan the QR code or enter wedding website on invitation for RSVP. Kindly RSVP before Aug 1, 2025 as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to see all our closest friends and family. Please only RSVP for a plus one if you and your partner are invited or plus one is included on the invitation.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We would love to have your children come! If you would like to bring your children to Phoenix and are looking for babysitters for the wedding, we would also love for you to make arrangements with a sitter so you can enjoy the party with us. Please reach out to Emily for vetted recommendations to provide childcare at the hotel during the event!

Parking?

Answer

Plenty of free parking at the Phoenix Botanical Garden. If you follow the main road all the way till the back of the lot, there is an additional private event parking area in front of the private entrance to the Dorrance Center. If you would like to avoid driving, please uber or lyft or take our complimentary shuttle from the Westin Tempe Hotel.

Answer

There will be shuttle transportation for your convenience to and from the Westin Tempe Hotel at the beginning and end of the night. Please see more information in the Travel Tab.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outside in the shade on the patio of the Dorrance Center. We will provide reed fans as temperatures at the end of September can be 80-90 degrees during the day. It is a dry heat, but dress accordingly:) The Dorrance Center Reception is air conditioned and will be available to cool down. Dinner and Reception will be inside an air conditioned indoor ballroom. The temperature drops in the desert to lows of 70-75 in Phoenix at the end of September.

What do I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal! Men: Long sleeve button ups with slacks and tie (optional blazer); Women: Cocktail dress or dressy separates. Temp will be dry 80-90 degrees during the day and 70-75 at night. Ceremony outside in the shaded patio, dinner and reception inside the ballroom.

How does seating for the ceremony and reception work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please; however, please allow for immediate family and bridal party to have first row in front. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging the tables, so our guests are sat with those they know with an alphabetical seating chart on the welcome sign.

What if I am late for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:15 PM. We recommend guests arrive between 4:45 PM - 5:00PM so there is time to find a seat. If you happen to be late, please quietly sit in the back row until the entire ceremony is finished. Thank you for your understanding!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for especially since we know many traveled for the event. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can buy an item or make a monetary contribution via our wedding registry on this website (in the registry tab). A wedding card box will be at our reception.

How do I get to the Dorrance Center?

Answer

The Dorrance Center is a ballroom with patios at the Phoenix Botanical Gardens. The address is 1201 N Galvin Pkwy. Once you enter the park, follow the signs for garden entrance. If you follow the main parking road all the way till the back of the lot, there is an additional private event parking area in front of the private entrance to the Dorrance Center. Follow the signs to Marley Education Building and there will be a sign marking our wedding.
