FAQs

Question

Designated driver, camping & drinking expectations

Answer

Your safety is our top priority. While we want everyone to celebrate joyfully, we have a strict policy against drinking and driving. Tent camping is available for guests who wish to stay on the property. We kindly ask that you respect the venue by using designated bathrooms, avoiding unauthorized fires, and cleaning up any personal trash. For guests not camping on-site, we will monitor designated drivers registered in the RSVP to ensure responsible alcohol consumption. If we determine that driving would be unsafe, we'll ask that you remain on the property or arrange alternative transportation. Our goal is to create a fun, memorable experience while keeping everyone protected. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting both our wedding venue and each other's well-being.

Question

Are my kids allowed?

Answer

This is an adults only event. If your children are not listed on the RSVP, we kindly ask that they do not attend!

Question

I’m coming from out of town and I’m NOT interested in camping, where should I stay?

Answer

For out-of-town guests seeking comfortable accommodations, Spokane offers a variety of hotel options to suit every budget. While we highly recommend the elegant Davenport Collection for a luxurious stay, numerous affordable alternatives are available within easy reach of our venue. Located just 45 minutes from Deer Lake, Spokane provides convenient lodging choices for all our wedding guests. Please note that if you're not camping, you must list your designated driver's name on the RSVP to ensure everyone's safe return home. Our event staff will be monitoring parking exits to guarantee all guests have a responsible transportation plan.

Answer

We ask our guests to pack up, clean up after themselves and head home by noon, unless otherwise specified by the bride or groom.

Answer

We only plan on providing dinner. The Riddler coffee stand right off the highway has amazing breakfast & drink options!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding celebrates a semi-formal, garden party atmosphere where comfort meets style. Ladies are invited to wear elegant sundresses, while gentlemen can choose between linen shirts or button-ups paired with slacks or well-fitted jeans. We want you to feel confident and relaxed in your outfit. For those joining us into the evening or camping overnight, we recommend bringing an extra layer, as temperatures can cool down after sunset.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We understand dietary needs are important. If you have a food allergy or specific dietary requirement, please contact Chandler Bennett or Ian Davis directly. Our menu will feature a variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free selections. Guests can look forward to classic BBQ fare such as pulled pork, chicken, pasta salad, and a fresh green salad.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any additional questions, please reach out to our maid of honor, Chandler Bennett, or best man, Ian Davis. They will be happy to help or connect you with the bride and groom to ensure you receive a comprehensive answer.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is conveniently available near our venue. You'll find spaces by the front entrance, to the left of the main cabin in front of the shop, and in the adjacent grassy area. We'll also have overflow parking across the street at additional cabins and near the beach if needed. A dedicated parking attendant will help guide you to an appropriate spot. Please note that due to the nature of our venue, your vehicle may be temporarily blocked by other cars. Please carpool! We'll make every effort to strategically park vehicles, especially for guests who are camping please arrive at 4pm, to ensure those needing to leave can do so easily.
