Braden and Piper met in high school through the Fort Osage basketball program, where Piper was a manager and Braden Played. Their friendship officially began in November of 2019, and later began dating in may of 2020.

After 7 months of waiting on someone to make a move, Braden finally ask Piper out on a date. They picked up dinner at Chick fil a, layed in bed and watched The Last Dance, which is a documentary about Michael Jordan. Later, Braden would make it up to Piper by taking her to Cooper's Hawk.

Piper and Braden found out in July of 2021 that they were expecting their first child. Soon after they moved in together and began a new chapter in their lives. Their little family came together when Miss Cora Avery Pottberg was welcomed into the world February 28th, 2022. Braden and Piper look forward to all the memories they will make with their daughter and look forward to adding on to their family in the future.

Braden and Piper currently reside in the Library district downtown KC, and love it! The plan on Expanding their family, and taking as much opportunity as possible to travel together.
