One of us decided to Facebook stalk his future fiance and like all of her posts until she messaged him. We quickly became friends, spending hours talking on the phone and texting every day, but sadly the timing was never right. We ended up parting ways for the majority of high school, but we continued to check in on each other every now and again.
What was supposed to be an easy way for Haylee to raise money for her dental hygiene program, selling donuts to Braden turned into a negotiation to hangout. After not talking for two years, it felt like no time had passed at all. We stayed up until 5am the next day laughing, talking, and watching Trolls and Meet the Robinson's. Haylee never received the $20 for those donuts by the way... (Don't let her fool you, she got the $20!)
On February 17th, Braden planned a spontaneous date day that lead to dinner at our favorite restaurant- Chris McD's. He preplanned having some of our closest friends and family seated around the restaurant so they could all be a part of the amazing night. Of course, knowing that Haylee hates attention being on her, he had to make sure the entire restaurant was paying attention when it happened! He sure does love keeping her on her toes!
