Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony 15-30 minutes prior to the start time. You can feel free to arrive earlier and explore the museum's exhibits for free as well!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We love the flexibility of our caterer so if you have any dietary restrictions please don't hesitate to list them on your RSVP so we can communicate that and get you fed!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have chosen to keep our ceremony, reception, and after party as 21+ events unless otherwise listed on your invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are multiple parking lots around downtown that are close to the venue, including one right across the street. As it is downtown, there are no free parking spots available.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotels where we have room blocks are next door and across the street from the venue so we have elected to not hire shuttles to or from the hotels. Please walk safely!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We love to see our friends and family get all dressed up so please dress in cocktail attire for all events during our big day! This generally means suits for men and knee length or longer dresses for women. The after party will be more casual, feel free to change into your comfy clothes before heading to the Level 7 Lounge at the AC Marriott! Please note that this is an indoor wedding; however, Pittsburgh weather is unpredictable at this time of year so we recommend bringing an umbrella or rain coat for the walk to and from the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate and special as possible, only the guests listed on your invitation will be accommodated. Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus one.

Can I take my own photos and videos?

Answer

While we would love all of the candid photos or videos from our family and friends, we are requesting that the ceremony be an unplugged event. We have an amazing photographer who's job it will be to watch through a lens, we want our family and friends to be present. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want, but please do not interfere with our photographer!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We have selected Zola for our wedding website because of their great online RSVP system. Please RSVP through this website. The deadline for RSVP's is May 1st, 2026.
