The Night Before Dinner Cocktail Hour and Dinner

Think summer dinner attire—casual summer dresses, button-down shirts, or polos with chinos or nice shorts. The mountains of NC cool down at night, so bring some layers for later in the evening. There will be appetizers and a cocktail hour beginning at 6 pm, with dinner to follow at 7 pm.

Early Riser's Breakfast

Available for guests who naturally rise early or are jump-starting the day to fit in an adventure in the local area. Casual or activewear is perfect for transitioning to exploring the property, hiking, or relaxing around the estate after breakfast.

Wedding Day Brunch

Enjoy a leisurely brunch with a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar before spending the day exploring the property or local adventures. Casual or activewear is perfect for transitioning to exploring the property, hiking, or relaxing around the estate after brunch.

Ceremony
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Please be sure to take your seats under the canopy of crepe myrtles by 4:30 pm, so the ceremony can begin promptly at 5pm.
The ceremony will take place across outdoor areas of the estate, so comfortable shoes for grass and stone paths are recommended. Semi-formal garden party attire is encouraged for the wedding celebration—think dresses, suits, sport coats, or dressy separates. Parking will be available on-site for guests not staying at Hawkesdene, and staff will drive golf carts to shuttle guests from parking areas or their cottages to the ceremony location, if needed. Wedding Reception
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The cocktail hour with appetizers will begin promptly after the ceremony concludes approximately 5:30-6 pm. We will transition to dinner at 7 pm, with dancing and celebrations to follow.
