Brad and Susan met in college at the University of Rochester. Brad was helping out with the electricity and magnetism class Susan was taking and although not polar opposites, they defied physics and became attracted to each other.
In spring 2017 Brad was visiting Susan in New Haven, CT. On the last night of Brad's visit he wanted to go up to East Rock Park with Susan to take pictures while they were both dressed up and then have a nice dinner afterwards at Barcelona. He had been planning to propose when they got to the top of the park, but unbeknownst to Susan, she wore the wrong shoes and developed one too many blisters. He decided to wait a little longer, and later that night in her apartment he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes and several years later they finally moved to Washington, D.C. to be together and start the next chapter of their lives! We are so grateful for all of the love and support we have received from our family and friends, and we are excited to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
