Bradley and Savannah first met thanks to their friends, (shoutout to Madi & AJ!) at Bradley’s fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi. Savannah spotted Bradley sitting barefoot in the kitchen, rocking an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt—despite it not being a luau-themed party, playing a classic game of Ride The Bus. Naturally the two of them were drawn to each other and spent the rest of the time bantering and getting to know each other. Though they both went to the University of Akron and shared mutual friends, their paths didn’t officially cross until 2022. After that one night they then kept running into each other- Bradley showing up to the bar Savannah bartended at, a summer night on the rooftop of Manny's. It was after one Thursday night baseball game, Bradley and friends had attended a Rubber Ducks Game, going inning for inning, beer for beer, hot dog for hot dog. Savannah's roommate Madi had begged her to tagalong to pick up the boys after the game- reluctantly Savannah agreed to go. It was that night that Savannah realized she had a crush on Bradley after he made her laugh the entire car ride home, and she decided to get his contact. At the time, Bradley was starting his final year of college, and Savannah was studying to take her NCLEX and begin her first job as a nurse. Between busy schedules, they made time to see each other, and their connection deepened. A key turning point? When Savannah made Bradley homemade lasagna and chocolate chip cookies the week before finals—it's true what they say: the key to a mans heart is through their stomach. That winter, their friendship blossomed into something more, and they officially started dating. They quickly bonded over a shared love for travel, national parks, and cooking together—interests that would go on to shape many of their favorite memories. Soon after, Bradley accepted a job offer in Arizona. It was a big move, but the bond they had built was even bigger—so Savannah and Emma joined him on the adventure out west. Together, they explored Arizona, grew closer, made everlasting friendships, and created countless memories. In April 2025, while vacationing in Hawaii with friends Hattie and Liz, Bradley planned the perfect surprise. After a day of snorkeling the group planned to watch one final sunset on the beach. As the sun was setting, Bradley pulled Savannah aside to take “just one more photo”—and instead asked her to spend forever with him. Since then, Bradley and Savannah have moved back to the Midwest, added a second dog to the family, and bought their first home—ready for the next chapter of their journey, side by side. XOXO
