Really fun Hawaiian spot (Brad worked there). Cocktails are a vibe. Get bao buns, poke, fried oyster + off menu spam
The move is the banquet menu, all the best things of the day and if duck is your thing, it’s the best crispy duck in town. Upstairs at Moongate Lounge are stellar cocktails. *Nikki’s client, ask her for help with a res!
Institutional dish joint. Line up approx 1 hour before you want to eat. Order off menu sashimi plate. “Single folks watch out for per Marino” - per Brad
The best tasting menu in town. Also does ½ glass pairings which is genius.
Brad also used to work here. Go for bar or lounge seating where you can get the menu a la carte. Very classic SF spot, open for 30+ years. Fun fact: Nikki used to spend holidays here growing up
the best restaurant group in SF (agreed by both Nikki + Brad). State Bird is dim sum style dining, Anchovy is small - large bites, and the Progress is our fav for cocktails + dessert after either meal (also the 2nd best duck in the city). + Brad’s cousin Kenny provides the anchovies. Recommend making res 30 days out for State Bird
need we say more?
rustic Italian home cooking. Recommend making res 30 days out, although best seat is the front of the fire at the bar. The it dish is the raviolo but the corn triangoli is the low key best pasta. Also don’t forget the ice cream!!
fish by the sea, is there anything better?
Ignore the name, trust me it’s good
Best sando in town (SO to Brad’s bud Ryan)
we’ll see you there!
martinis in an alternate universe. also our 2nd date!
best cocktail bar in SF (IMO - both of us)
“sultry” - per Brad. Our neighborhood martini tavern.
if you make it across the bridge (and you should!), this is the destination. Stellar cocktails, immaculate vibes. *Nikki’s client, ask her for help with a res
cutest martini dive mar (have you picked up on a martini theme yet?) *Nikki’s client, no res needed just walk-in
fish by the sea, but with more options and a better view than Hookfish. Also owned by Brad’s cousins + Eden!
