Flight

Flying to California

There are a number of different flight options for traveling to the Orange County area - John Wayne (SNA), San Diego (SAN), Los Angeles (LAX), Ontario (ONT), or Long Beach (LGB). If you plan to fly in on Friday morning, please remember that Friday traffic in California starts early in the afternoon and can significantly add to travel time. Approximate travel times from each airport (assuming minimal to no traffic) to the hotel blocks are: SNA (25-30 min), SAN (1-1.5 hrs), LAX (1-1.5 hrs), ONT (1 hr), or LGB (30-45 min). LAX is also congested during high traffic volume times. Allow extra time for coming and going. Unless you plan on flying into SNA, we'd recommend renting a car to travel from the airport to the hotel/venue/etc.

Airbnb or VRBO

Airbnb and VRBO have some great options for house/apartment rentals in the area. Cities to stay in: San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach, Mission Viejo. Please note that this is a popular weekend for weddings, so we’d recommend taking a look at options sooner rather than later! *There will not be wedding-related events happening at the hotels where room blocks are offered.*
