Mount Princeton Hot Springs
We visit hot springs regularly. Mt Princeton is an amazing place to visit to rest and relax. They have a full spa if you want to be extra pampered. A great place to go if you plan to be here before of after the wedding for a few days.
Garden of the Gods
In 1909, Charles Perkins‘ children, knowing their father’s feeling for the Garden of the Gods, conveyed his four-hundred eighty acres to the City of Colorado Springs. It would be known forever as the Garden of the Gods There are a variety of tours and hiking trails available.
Stanley Hotel
Go check out the Inspiration for Stephen King's The Shining. The Shining wasn't filmed here but Dumb and Dumber had shots filmed here. It's also a popular venue for weddings.
Estes Park
Check out the beautiful wildlife CO is home to at Estes Park.
Strawberry Hot Springs
Strawberry Hot Springs may be the most famous in CO. It's simply beautiful here. It is 3.5 hours from Denver. 4x4 is required in the winter and always a good idea. It's also a 100+ yard walk from the parking lot to the springs. If you have the time to visit it'll be amazing. *Clothing optional after dark.
Great Sand Dunes National Park
The mountains turn into deserts for more beautiful CO scenery. The snow melts in the spring to fill up a small creek a few inches. The dogs love to go camping here. There are hotels nearby along with hiking and more hot springs. It's a 4.5 hour drive from Denver.
