San Diego Zoo
We are huge animal lovers! The San Diego Zoo is world renowned and a must see if you have never been.
Gaslamp Quarter
The Gaslamp Quarter is a historic area of downtown San Diego with lots of great bars and restaurants. It is also walking distance to other spots like East Village and Petco Park (our ballpark). If you have time to wander, we would recommend visiting the downtown area at least once during your stay!
Coronado
The City of Coronado is a quaint beach town near downtown San Diego. Driving over the bridge to get there from downtown or taking the ferry is an experience in itself! Coronado is a beautiful, sunny spot with gorgeous beaches, lots of great bars, restaurants, and shops, and is also home to the historic Hotel Del. It's a great location to walk around, shop, and grab drinks or food.
Beach Cities
Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, and Pacific Beach are close to the venue, close to the beach, and fun, vibrant places to be during the summer. For a beachy experience that is more upscale, we would recommend exploring La Jolla, Del Mar, or Carlsbad (though these places will be a drive depending on where you stay).
