| b r a d + d a w n e | brad + dawne each have such incredible, winding, twisting stories. they’ve both experienced love before, + heartbreak. they’ve both raised children + watched them grow up to start their own adventures. they weren’t high school sweethearts, + theirs didn’t follow the textbook love story. but being around these two for only a few moments you can feel what they share. they have f u n together. they enjoy each others company completely. they have a certain dynamic that’s rare to come by, + such a pleasure to witness. if you know brad + dawne, then you know what i mean. if you don’t, well, just look at them. these two found their person. sometimes life throws us curveballs, but i like to think it’s the universe setting us up for the catch of a lifetime.

We knew each other as acquaintances through mutual friends but never really talked for real until the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. I was spinning in circles trying to figure out who I was and where I was going. I was truly lost. I needed a ladder. I needed a lighthouse. Enter Dawne. "She has worn a wealth of costumes Hula skirts to wedding gowns Lived in cities walked through jungles Always sees the sun go down" At first, I just wanted to talk to someone who might be able to fill in some blanks for me. Someone to help me understand how I got here. I talked - she listened. I kept talking and she kept listening. Laughing & crying. Lots of Corona's. We got to know each other very deeply, very quickly. From there I just followed my heart. She's a rock-star mom. She's an amazing nurse. She's a great friend. She's also gorgous! I feel so natural and at ease with her. I've never felt so right. I absolutely cannot wait to make her my wife and spend forever with her. "Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear the path." It started with a text to have a beer and talk. It was a crazy time after Hurricane Irma, but especially for Brad. We had only met once or twice and exchanged a few words. I really didn't know him but something said "Go!" Little did I know how much, "just a beer" was going to change my life... "THE BEST LOVE STORY IS WHEN YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THE MOST UNEXPECTED PERSON AT THE MOST UNEXPECTED TIME" We talked and talked....It was very apparent the energy between us, like nothing I've ever felt. I've seen true, honest love before between people at some of their rawest moments. It's very visible when you see it. So I knew it existed, just not everyone gets to experience an absolute open, honest, pure love with no limits. Brad captured my heart very early on with his sense of humor, adventure, humility, such ability to forgive, his honesty ( and of course his handsomeness ). His amazing outlook on life with his heart so filled with love, even in the hardest of times.
