Here is some travel information for those of you coming in from out of town. IAH or Bush Intercontinental Airport is only about an hour and 15 minutes from College Station and is the nearest large airport. It is a very easy drive typically. There are limited flights into and out of College Station on American daily. The connection is DFW. For those who want to fly American or any other airline to DFW and then rent a car there, College Station is about 3 hours south of DFW and 2 hours east of Austin Bergstrom Airport (AUS). If we can make arrangements, there will be transportation for those who do not wish to drive to the events each evening. Stay tuned for more details on this.

This is a great property in the heart of College Station and within walking distance or a very short drive to a good amount of shopping, dining, bars, and Texas A&M. It is located in Century Square which has multiple restaurants and shopping experiences. Flight

Bush Intercontinental (IAH)

For most folks, Bush is the best bet. It is on the north side of Houston which means your time in Houston traffic is limited as College Station is also north and therefore you do not have to cross Houston. You need to allow about one hour and fifteen minutes to drive from IAH to College Station.

College Station Easterwood Airport (CLL)

There are 3 flights per day on American in and out of College Station via DFW. CLL is 5-10 minutes from The George Hotel.

The George Hotel is in the Century Square development and there are quite a few shops, bars, and restaurants. There is a King Ranch Shop and a Lucchese Boot Store for you non-Texans who might want to spice up your wardrobe. A few people ask about a good Sports Bar to possibly watch some college basketball Saturday afternoon: Red’s Ice House is in the southwest corner of Century Square.
