We were assigned to the same table in history class with two other friends. I thought his flat effect was hilarious, and he loved making me laugh! I joked that if he were on fire, he'd have no reaction, which he found funny because his dad was a firefighter. We spent the rest of that class period goofing off and trying to talk to each other as much as possible, because we were both smitten.
We were visiting Disneyland for the second time on our own, and had planned to be engaged on this trip until several months before. We were looking at the cheesy, mickey-themed jewelry in California Adventure when I said "You know, you could propose to me with one of these Mickey rings." We laughed, but then I said, "No, really". We found the perfect ring in New Orleans Square and later that evening we stood on a bridge by the castle, admiring its glowing reflection in the water when he got down on one knee and I said "yes" to a lifetime of love and happiness... We are beyond excited to share this momentous occasion with you! See you as soon as it's safe! :)
