There's so much to do on Magazine Street. It is a great place to spend the day walking around the new and antique shops, and there is tons of art to check out. There's plenty of restaurants and bars to stop in for some good food and drinks. Try the damn good nachos and a pain killer at the Rum House! St. Joe's Bar, Dat Dog, Mahoney's Poboys, Atchafalaya, and Tracey's are other good choices.
Take a ride on the streetcar through the Garden District to see all of the beautiful historic homes. The streetcar only costs $1.25! Hop on and off to stop for something to eat or drink on the way. Superior Seafood is another good restaurant option.
