Our love story began on a snowy February afternoon in Boston, Massachusetts. We met for the first time outside the North Station T stop, just in front of TD Garden. We started off with a snowy stroll to the near by dog park in the north end and then ventured on into Night Shift Brewery, getting to know each other over IPAs while Kai preyed on unsuspecting customers for french fries and pizza scraps. As we said our goodbyes at the end of the night, we both knew this was the start of something very special... Only a few short months later, we found ourselves westbound on a cross-country road trip to Grand Junction, Colorado! Ali was starting a new travel OT contract in the school district while Brad continued to work remotely. We immediately fell in love with the area, constantly planning weekend adventures to Moab, running all the 5K's we could find, and exploring all the local farmers markets and orchards. Our little family of three quickly grew to a family of four later that winter when we adopted Bandit, our brave little muffin dog (Shorki-poo, AKA: Shitzu-Yorki poodle, although we prefer the name YorkiShit-poo). The following spring, we decided to grow the family a little bit more with 6 backyard chickens. All the chickens are laying eggs and providing family breakfast on the daily! Our time in Grand Junction is coming to an end as we are actively in the process of packing our bags for our next road trip! By the end of May we will be headed to Boulder, Colorado, where Ali is running 3 weeks of nature based occupational therapy camps for special needs children. After that, we will be back on the road, headed east bound for all of the wedding festivities in July! We still aren't sure exactly where we will end up after that... but "closer to family" seems to be the lose criteria for our next big adventure! We have no shortage of passion for this beautiful life we are creating together and we are SO excited to share this special love with all of our friends and family, Cheers!
