We had no mutual friends, only a mutual city and a mutual desire to find love, to find the one. Ow, and a very good friend talked Ale into not giving up on the date at the last minute. It was a cold night on February 14th, and yes, Brad decided to have our first date on Valentine's Day. It was love at first sight, and the rest is history!

Brad got the ring and a plan: getting engaged in Switzerland with the presence of some of the most important people in our lives. It took a lot of organization and exchange of pictures of potential venues back and forth. On a beautiful Spring morning, Camilla and Nicolas set the tone of the day by taking Ale and Brad sightseeing. Turns out Brad couldn't imagine proposing anywhere else but by the elephant statue in Lake Lucerne. Comes the moment, Brad takes the ring, goes down on one knee, and pops the question in Portuguese: Você quer comer comigo? (which is Portuguese for "Will you eat with me?"). Turns out Camilla's Portuguese lessons to Brad got Ale a meal proposal for the rest of her life! Well, guess we're eating together forever anyway!
