just over 1 month away!

How Brad and Kacey met was not very romantic (lol). Brad was a senior in high school and Kacey was a Junior. Kacey had added him on Facebook because they had mutual friends and thought he was pretty cute. One weekend, Kacey had a party at her house and one of her guy friends took her phone and messaged (a lot) of people on Facebook. All of them were asked what their number was, except for Brad. This friend had given Kacey's number to Brad. Kacey, not realizing this at the time, got a text the next morning, and of course, had no idea who it was. Brad introduced himself and it just goes up from there! From there on out, they talked, hung out, & then started dating. There were some tough times, some short breakups, and lots of milestones met throughout the years, and they always ended up back together. Here they are now, 10.5 years later, with a beautiful home, dog, little girl, and are now tying the knot, getting married, and making it official to be together for the rest of their lives!

As many of you know, Brad and Kacey have been together for what seems to be forever now. They have had their dog, Deke, together for just shy of their entire relationship. They bought a house together in 2017, and in 2019, they had a beautiful little girl, Raegan. Everything was there, except for the ring. Everyone had been waiting, including and especially Kacey (not so patiently lol). Kacey wanted the ring and proposal to be a complete surprise and she had no idea when it was happening. Brad, Kacey, and their friends Joe and Katrina were planning a trip to Colorado. Kacey was wondering if it was going to happen then, but due to COVID, Brad made the ultimate decision that they were not going to make the trip there. Kacey then knew that Brad was not planning to propose because if he was, then he wouldn't have canceled the trip to Colorado. Instead, they decided to take a long weekend to Lake Placid where they would do some hiking, dinners, and winter activities. Joe and Katrina decided that hiking as soon as we got to Lake Placid that Friday would be the best option due to weather. Little did Kacey know, Brad had some secret plans. The hike didn't take long, there was some beautiful views. Katrina and Kacey are all about taking pictures so Kacey and Brad took pictures of Joe and Katrina. Then the roles reversed. Joe was video taping (Kacey didn't know this) and Katrina was snapping pictures. Brad and Kacey were posed all nice and then Brad took the ring out of his pocket and got on one knee. Kacey was completely shocked and of course said, YES! Brad did all the shopping by himself with zero hints as to what to get! He did so good!
