The Veil Brewing Co. - Forest Hill
The Veil is a really cool spot with very innovative/funky beers. Try their in-house taco shop as well! If you're sticking to the north side of the river, they also have a location in Scott's Addition.
Triple Crossing Beer - Fulton
Triple Crossing has two locations near downtown - "Downtown" and "Fulton." Fulton is worth the extra few minutes for their larger food menu! They have great wood fired pizzas and appetizers. As far as beer goes, if you like IPA's, you'll like it here.
Legend Brewing Co
Enjoy a beer and a bite to eat on the patio with a view of the city skyline. The brussel sprouts and onion ring appetizers are our favorites!
Grandstaff & Stein
This speakeasy style bar and restaurant is nice for dinner, drinks, and a cool atmosphere. Make sure to check their Facebook page for the weekly password to get in!

Head to Scott's Addition to try one of our favorite happy hour spots! Their gin & tonics (the orange tonic is made in house) are amazing. Great for happy hour and dinner!
SB's Main Street Love Shack
SB's is a delicious great spot with fun weekly specials. We love to visit the location by our house, and they just opened this spot closer to downtown!

Carytown is a great place to spend the afternoon walking around. There are a bunch of cute shops, restaurants, and ice cream spots!
Forest Hill Park
We love to take Kevin for walks here! There's a paved loop around the lake, or you can check out the trails if you're feeling more adventurous.
