We kindly request semi-formal attire for our wedding. Suits or jackets are welcome (black suits are fine), but we ask that guests avoid wearing black in dresses or other outfits to keep the day light and festive. Think garden party meets evening elegance - soft tones, cheerful colours, and classic styles are perfect. Thank you! Please note there is no dress code for the rest of the weekend or the other events occurring. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable being photographed in.

While you can’t fly directly into Jervis Bay, there are a few nearby airports that make getting here easy with a little planning. Nearby Airports Sydney Airport (SYD): The most common option. As a major international and domestic airport, Sydney offers the most flight choices and is about a 2.5-hour drive to Jervis Bay. Canberra Airport (CBR): Another good option, slightly further than Sydney, with a drive of around 3 hours. Wollongong Airport (WOL): The closest airport geographically, but with very limited flight options. Getting from the Airport to The Cove Rental Car: Available directly at Sydney and Canberra airports. This is the easiest and most flexible way to get to Jervis Bay. Shuttle Service: The Jervis Bay Airport Express offers transfers from Sydney Airport to the Jervis Bay area — great if you'd prefer not to drive. Public Transport: For the adventurous, public transport is available — take a train or bus from Sydney to Bomaderry, then connect via local bus to Jervis Bay. Be sure to allow extra time if choosing this option.
Yes, all guests invited will be utilising the accommodation at The Cove
All plus ones have been allocated as per the invitations however if your relationship status has changed since the invitations have been sent out please get in contact with the bride and groom for a discussion and we can see what we can do. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
If your little one is invited, you’ll see their name on the invitation. We kindly ask that only those listed attend so we can plan accordingly. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The Cove offers plenty to enjoy for guests of all ages, including friendly wallabies roaming the grounds and a beautiful private beach exclusively for our party. Guests are welcome to use the paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkel gear free of charge during their stay. Please note, there won’t be organized activities for children during the wedding itself, so if your child is invited, we kindly ask that you plan accordingly to ensure they’re comfortable and entertained.
The Cove recommends South Coast Nannies, a trusted and professional childcare provider. If you’re interested in arranging their services, please let the bride know the number of children by April 1, 2026. She will coordinate with the wedding planner to assist in organizing this on your behalf. Please kindly note that childcare costs are the responsibility of the guests.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. We understand that due to this being a destination wedding and most of our guests are flying interstate that you have all already spent a lot of money to attend so we do not expect gifts. Should you wish to honour us with a contribution, a wishing well will be available on the day. Please know that your generosity is appreciated, but never expected.
To ensure every special moment is beautifully captured, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer who will handle all the photography for the day. We completely understand wanting to capture memories, so please feel free to take photos during the reception and celebrate with us!
