We met at the gym through our friends ! Neither one of us was looking for relationship and all we wanted was just a quick friendship , since Patrick was getting deployed and I was about to move out of the area . However we started to like working out and going out together a little too much, so we kept seeing each other everyday and within a short amount of time, realized that we like each other more than just friends. Afterwards, Patrick needed to leave for his deployment and I moved out from the area , but we said and promised we will stay in touch and we did ! As the months went by our communication stayed the same and even though we had not seen each other for over six months we kept talking every day . After six months we finally met again and expressed our feeling towards each other and then Patrick had to leave again !

Patrick came from Japan to Arizona for his Skydiving course and that was the opportunity for me to see him again after many months not seeing him. I decided to drive from Chicago to Arizona (26 hour drive by myself) however my car broke down in Texas which was half way to Patrick. I sold my broken car there, got rental, and made it to Patrick in Arizona. A few nights later we were sitting by the pool and had a regular conversation of how we pictured our future and there it came ! Patrick asked me to Marry him ! Of course I said YES !
