We met on move-in day at college. Technically, I met his mom first who introduced us. I thought he was tall; he thought I was nice. We quickly became good friends—going on late-night gas station runs, going hiking to Taylors Falls, and exploring new coffee shops together. After two semesters of being "just friends" which MANY people were unconvinced of, we finally confessed our feelings and made it official. Since then, we have continued to grow those shared interests that we started as friends. We have learned so much together through being classmates, neighbors, volunteering together, and going to church together. As our lives have begun to meld together, God has taught us what sacrificial love looks like which points us to Jesus' most sacrificial love for us. We are excited to learn so much more together, going from friends to a lifetime of marriage!
