Who would have thought meeting on a dating app would have led to a proposal?! After both "swiping right" and matching with each other, our first date was at Asencion, one of our favorite local coffee shops in Dallas. A few dates later and we were pretty much inseperable, eventually moving in together. Fast forward two and a half years later, he popped the question!

Crazy thunderstorms the day of the proposal delayed Jeff's plans but he was determined to make the day special! Having to slightly alter his plan, we started the day off with coffee and brunch back where it all began, at Asencion Coffee on Oak Lawn. Jeff had made reservations and even thought to ensure we were sat at the same table where we had our first date. Once we finished brunch, it finally stopped raining and Jeff kept mentioning he wanted to go to the Arboretum. Danielle was a bit hesitant considering the weather was not the best, but Jeff was adamant to go. We got to the Arboretum, and unlike any other day we had been, it was so quiet and not many people around; it was like we had the entire place to ourselves! Finally, we stopped in the Poetry Garden, one of Danielle's favorite spots. Jeff had just gotten a GoPro and wanted to "test" it out, so he set up a tripod to take some photos. Little did Danielle know, he was setting it up to record the entire proposal! Finally, he got down on one knee and asked the most important question...of course the answer was YES!
