We met online in October 2023, but because of life, we didn't end up meeting up - missed connection #1. Time passed, but both of us always had the other as a "what if?" in the back of our minds. In January 2024, we both happened to drive up to the yarn store (Yarntiques in Johnson City, TN) at the same time - Nate was on a mission to get his mom some specialty yarn and Julie was there to knit at "the table" with the knitting ladies. We recognized each other immediately - Nate reached out, but Julie was too busy with work travel to meet up - missed connection #2. In March 2024, Julie still couldn't get Nate out of her mind, so she went back on the dating app to reach out to him again, but the app had logged her out and deleted all her matches. She thought it was a sign - missed connection #3. In April 2024, Julie was STILL thinking about Nate. This time she found him on Instagram and used his line from his message in January to ask to go for a drink... and the rest is history! We both knew from early on that the other one was something special - that we were like puzzle pieces that found their match. We love exploring nature, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts (while pausing every minute because we keep having things to talk about), and just spending time with each other. We're so excited to start this new adventure together!
